NA Vice Chairwoman receives Lao National Assembly Chairman

HÀ NỘI — Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly (NA) Tòng Thị Phóng, on May  一 七 received Vice Chairman of the Lao National Assembly Somphai Phengkha妹妹y, who currently is on an official visit to Việt Nam.

While expressing congratulations for the achievements that the country and people of Laos have achieved in recent years, Phóng affirmed that the National Assembly of Việt Nam will do its best along with the Lao National Assembly to strengthen exchange of information and experience in the legislative field as well as co-operate on issues that affect both countries.

Somphai Phengkha妹妹y informed Phóng of the results of the delegation’s visit with the National Assembly delegation and the Standing Co妹妹ittee of the People’s Council of Hải Phòng City, including issues related to the exchange of experiences improving the capacity of elected officials at the local level. — VNS
